Our Ministry Work
Longvue Avenue Baptist Church works diligently to meet the ever-changing needs of the communities in which we live.
Our church has an ongoing outreach program to bring the Gospel of Salvation to a lost and dying world.
We have been involved in many PAST PROJECTS over the years, and we invite you to learn by example how you can help your community together with Longvue Avenue Baptist Church.
Bus Ministry:
More than just transportation. We believe that everyone should have access to God's Word, especially children.
"But Jesus said, Suffer little children, and forbid them not, to come unto me: for such is the kingdom of heaven." -Matthew 19:4
Soul Winning and Visitation:
We believe in spreading the Gospel Message in our local communities through old fashioned door knocking and meeting/greeting our neighbors.
Reaching out to those around us that are looking for a good Bible believing and Bible preaching church that spreads the Gospel of Salvation to a lost and dying world. While we encourage everyone to spread the good news whenever possible, we do have organized soul winning time on Saturday mornings starting at 11:00 AM. Come join us!

Bible Handout Ministry:
Part of our Soul Winning efforts includes making sure that everyone has access to God's Word. Weather permitting, we hand out free King James Bibles on Camp Bowie across from Dollar Tree and Taco Casa. We also have Spanish Bibles (RVR 1960) as well, when available. We start shortly after our Soul Winning Meeting and are typically out from 11:30AM to 1:00PM on Saturdays. Come join us!

HOPE Ministry:
Helping Others Put off Entanglements (HOPE) is a Bible centered faith-based addiction program. We teach truths from the Bible that can help you overcome addictions of any type. We are a weekly support with teaching, encouragement and accountability. Dinner will be served during the meeting. We meet weekly on Fridays at 7:00PM. Personal and confidential counseling available.

Christian Growth Classes:
Whether you have been saved for 30 minutes or 30 years, we have small group classes designed for both new Christians and those that just want to fellowship and continue growing in their Christian faith. We believe that no Christian should ever stop learning lessons inspired by God's Word. We typically meet Wednesdays from 6:00PM to 6:45PM, right before our evening service at 7:00PM.
